What the client wants

The client wanted an icon for his app that will say: Create your own design and we will print it on a t-shirt and deliver it to your door.

THE SKETCHES

How cool is that, you can make a unique t-shirt design and have it delivered to your door. Enthusiastic I took my tools, put them in the service of creation and got the following 3 sketches.

The final product

The client chose his favourite and I got to imprint my unique design on this icon:

What the client wants

He had an app with various methods and timers of brewing a coffee and he needed an icon that could represent that process.

THE SKETCHES

It was a piece of cake next to a cup o coffee :) My pencil felt the caffeine rush and started to grind some sketches.

The final product

The client was enchanted of the sketches and chose his favourite. After some more brewing it was time to reveal the icon:

What the client wants

The client gave me a list of three elements that would best represent his golf app, and also gave me one invite to play with them.

THE SKETCHES

I like to play too, so I was in for the game! I sharpened my pencil, experimented with drawing the grass and started to play with images of the putter and the golf ball; yes, that one, with the small hexagonal dimples. After just one game I had scored three interesting sketches.

The final product

After showing the sketches to the client, he decided on one of them, and after some laborious work, I created this:

What the client wants

There was an idea to describe the life of one golden fish that everyone wants to find someday.

THE SKETCHES

I liked to think that he was struggling somewhere in the blue waters, trying to come to us and fulfill our three requests, so I let my pencil draw the image of a brave golden fish that will never lose hope.

The final product

After the process of digitizing, it looked like:

What the client wants

There was a request to create an icon for a party app. It had to be one that would clearly say "party animal" to all viewers.

THE SKETCHES

I like drawing characters—I’ve done this ever since I was little—and now was my chance to let some of my characters be known. I took out a sheet .of paper and a pencil and I started the party.

The final product

The client chose one sketch with which to continue the digitizing party, with this end result:

What the client wants

Another request came my way, this time to create an icon representing a game character.

THE SKETCHES

Games and characters, I thought—what a cool combination! I soon started my own game, using my imagination and my pencil to make three winning sketches.

The final product

The client picked up one sketch and let me work on the digital image, crafting it to best fit the character:
